Hi, I'm Roberta Porcina.
My journey in the world of design is rooted in the colors and landscapes of Sardinia, where I was born and raised.
At the age of 19, driven by a desire to explore visual language and fashion, I moved to Milan to pursue my studies at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. This solid artistic foundation shaped an aesthetic sensitivity that I now integrate with a rigorous technical and industrial approach, developed through over 15 years of experience in the high-end textile sector.
I built a significant part of my career at Ratti S.p.A. (Marzotto Group), where I had the privilege of collaborating with luxury maisons such as Louis Vuitton, Valentino, and Emanuel Ungaro, as well as global retail groups like Inditex. I have managed complex international markets, with a particular focus on South America, collaborating with prominent brands and designers such as Johanna Ortiz and Juan de Dios, working regularly in Italian, Spanish, and English.
After consolidating this deep expertise spanning both creation and production, I founded my own practice: Ardèna Studio. This creative studio specializes in surface and pattern design, where I transform visual concepts into concrete, high performance, and market oriented textile solutions. I firmly believe that technical knowledge is not a limit to creativity, but rather the essential tool for developing projects of superior quality.
In my personal life, I cultivate a passion for plants and nature through gardening, a practice that has always informed my way of looking at the world.
